Description
WRIST BRACE FOR DOGS WITH UNSTABLE OR ARTHRITIC CARPUS. The Ortocanis carpal support allows varying degrees of immobilisation to be applied by means of two metal splints. It offers support from 1 to 3 on a scale of 0 to 4, where 4 means total immobilisation. It is the ideal orthosis for post-surgical recovery and an evolved alternative to the Robert Jones brace. Benefits: – It reduces pain and prevents atrophy: The increase in the working temperature of the carpus has an anti-inflammatory effect which reduces discomfort in case of osteoarthritis and ligament injuries. – It stimulates the muscular activity of the joint and reduces the risk of degeneration. As the pain is reduced, the dog can use the joint again. – It accelerates rehabilitation: Increased metabolism accelerates recovery and the production of elastin which helps to make the joint more flexible. – It stabilises the joint: Thanks to the aluminium side splints, the carpal support allows the joint to be stabilised to varying degrees depending on the individual case. Sizing Guide: To find the right size, measure the circumference at the height of the carpus. – XS: carpal circumference 0 – 6 cm. – S: carpal circumference 6 – 8 cm. – M: carpal circumference 8 – 10 cm. – L: perimeter of the carpus 10 – 12.5 cm. – XL: perimeter of the carpus 12.5 – 15 cm. – XXL: perimeter of the carpus 15 – 19 cm. – XXXL: carpal circumference > 19 cm.

I received this watch as a gift from a fellow Watch collector, usually high-end Swiss Chronographs. I can assure you this watch will not disappoint You in any way. I wanted to not like it as much as my other watches, just to be a watch snob. However I’m extremely pleased with this watch and am happily surprised at its quality.
